Small Business Spotlight - April 14
This week's spotlight features the Hakuna Matata House. Not only are they this week's spotlight but they'll also be featured in the May issue of the Be a BellaOriginal Magazine! Learn more about this great organization:
I was born in New York and moved to South Africa where my husband is from almost 10 years ago. In the United States I taught special education to students in New York and Arizona.
I started Hakuna Matata because there are over 2.5 million orphans in South Africa probably more actually that aren't counted. I have always loved helping children and wanted to create an organization that would help children get the basic necessities such as food and toiletries.
Hakuna Matata helps over 15 different orphanages at the moment delivering supplies such as food, diapers, toiletries and clothing. We often get extra items that we can't use so those items we sell to buy diapers and food which are what the orphanages need most importantly.
Supporters from the USA can donate via our go fund me page https://www.gofundme.com/5qapyo
